Project Management Process OwnerThe Planning & Leadership Team (PLT) owns this process. Ownership means that the team collectively and each member individually is responsible to ensure the process is followed and can initiate changes to the process when needed. The team as a group is responsible for final approval of process changes. The PLT has charged the Project Management Committee with the monitoring and maintenance of this process. The Committee will update it as necessary and suggest changes as process use expands through the department. The Committee is a cross-team representation of the department and users of the process. Project Management Process SupportThe Methods and Education Services Team (MES) is responsible for process support. This includes assisting others in understanding and following the process, and coordinating updates to the process. Although all PLT members have a strong interest in the process and are encouraged to monitor it and be involved in continued process improvement, the MES team leader will be the natural department champion of it due to his / her position. Project Management Tool Upgrade ResponsibilityThe MES Team is responsible for coordinating project management tool upgrades with technical assistance from the Departmental Systems and Services Team.
