Printed Output

Printed reports may be picked up in Room 2, Administration Building between 7:45 a.m. and 4:45 p.m., Monday through Friday.  The receptionist will direct you to the output shelves where your reports will be waiting.

Morning deliveries are scheduled for the following offices:

Tape Output

Long-term retention tape files which are retained for a period equal to or exceeding one (1) year will be retained in AIS's off-site storage. A second copy will be retained at AIS for productional use.

bulletLong-term retention tapes will be exercised and/or copied on a regular schedule to insure that all the data on the tape still exists and is readable.
bulletClients are provided with a listing of long-term retention tapes listed in data set name order on a quarterly basis. They may request an extension of retention dates on long-term tapes through the use of the Request For Application Support form (RAS).

Files available for FTP to client servers

Assuming that permission of the data owner has been obtained, files may be made available for download to departmental servers through File Transfer Protocol (FTP) software.  A request that a file be created on the mainframe for download to a server is made through the Request For Application Support form (RAS).  Files may be manually downloaded through the client's FTP software or may be automatically downloaded if a server signon and password allowing access to a named subdirectory are provided by the client.
