Project Description:
This proposal provides the staffing required to provide additional support for the security tools we have already installed and to address the purchase and installation of additional tools which have already been identified as the next steps AIS needs to take to further improve our security capability. Project Status:
We are in the process of expanding the Technical Services’ staff in order to enhance its ability to provide better security support for the servers and the network systems that we maintain. At the same time we have installed an Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) in our primary computer room and are in the process of activating one in our AIS East facility. We are in the process of expanding our capability to monitor server security. This is a continuing project. |
