LOGGING INFRASTRUCTURE

Project Description:

Purchase and install a system that will facilitate log correlation of all servers and network devices in our computer room. In addition a server will be purchased to house this service as it requires a significant amount of processing power. Once the system is in place then a daily reporting system will be developed using the logs as input to assist in the identification of network and server anomalies that need to be reviewed.

Project Status:

A system from Bright Tools called CrossTech Security Center has been installed. Efforts to improve reliability have been successful. The project is now adding the tools needed to collect data from the last of the servers. The project team has established a daily reporting process. Work continues to refine the reporting process.
