Short Term Loans Enhancements

Project Overview

Updated: April 14, 2008

Project Description:

The Short Term Loan Enhancement project is to improve the short term loan processes by adding new functionalities and by providing additional requested information.  The project will consist of two phases.  Phase I will include changes to the Credit Check screen and the ability to E-sign for short term loans and have short term loan funds direct deposited.  Phase II will include billing short term loans on-line, allowing borrowers to make payments on-line, allowing borrowers to renew loans on-line and provide for an interface between the Cashiering (CORE) and Loans Receivables (ECSI) systems.

Project Status:

The Credit Check screen changes have been placed in the Quality Assurance test environment.  A test matrix was completed for these changes and the testing has been started.  We continue to finalize the business requirements for both the E-Signature and Direct Deposit objectives.  Both of these requirements are under final review and approval.

Over the next month our plans are to complete the testing of the Credit Check screen and have those coding changes moved to Production.  The Requirements document for the E-Signature and Direct Deposit will be completed and approved.  Also, the Design document will be produced and approved.  Work will begin on the development of the coding needed for the E-Signature and Direct Deposit functionalities.
