DescriptionAIS webDoc is a software application (java servlet) that allows MSU web applications to retrieve and display personal user documents (like W2s) that are indexed by PID or SSN in Document Viewer. Benefits
AvailabilityThe service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week except when short maintenance outages are needed, which will be announced prior to the outage. Anyone with an MSU NetID and security rights can access webDoc from any computer that has supported web browsers. However, there are several prerequisites and requirements for use that must also be addressed. The actual webDoc web location is http://webdoc.ais.msu.edu/. PrerequisitesYour application must first be defined as a Sentinel application (for authentication) within the D6501 security system (for authorization). Your application must be coded to support SSO (which itself requires Sentinel). Your report must be defined in Document Viewer. Additionally, a basic understanding of Document Viewer storage and a detailed understanding of AIS security are required.
